User Answer Data

How can we ensure equal opportunities are given in the workplace?

  • Transparency about opportunities (not allowing favoritism to make decisions)
  • Set company laws that apply to everyone, and most importantly communicate them to everyone
  • Stop looking for credentials which are so much easier for white people to get. Mentor BIPOCs.
  • Make it mandatory. Institute a penal system if there aren't equal opportunities given.
  • Years of experience to substitute the postgrad diploma requirement for chartership/licensure
  • Remove names, D.O.B., addresses, etc. from CV's/Resumes
  • Record and enforce main quota for each individual: conference, site visit, interview, etc.
  • Firms should release metrics of their staff demographics
